I have recently built two new TSM servers, both physical RHEL 7 boxes. I configured all notifications to be identical to my other servers, but cannot get them to send alerts.
I have tested mail from the command line and it sends without a problem, indicating that there are no networking issues (such as firewall) blocking mail.
Both systems have the same accounts set. Both of them have alerting on for the user ids that are set to receive the alerts.
The only difference between the working system and non is that the working system is RHEL 6.

Here's the mail settings for the working server (identifying info scrubbed):
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.9 (Santiago)
Code:
                                Monitor Status: On
             Status Refresh Interval (Minutes): 15
                      Status Retention (Hours): 24
                        Monitor Message Alerts: On
               Alert Update Interval (Minutes): 10
                                Alert to Email: On
          Send Alert Summary to Administrators:
                      Alert from Email Address: tsmadmins@***.com
                               Alert SMTP Host: smtp.***.com
                               Alert SMTP Port: 25
               Alert Active Duration (Minutes): 480
             Alert Inactive Duration (Minutes): 480
               Alert Closed Duration (Minutes): 60
                              Monitoring Admin:
                               Monitored Group:
                             Monitored Servers:

Skipped files as At-Risk for Virtual Machines?: No
                  At-Risk Interval for Systems: 48
Skipped files as At-Risk for Systems?: No
And here is the non-functional server:
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 7.4 (Maipo)
Code:
                                Monitor Status: On

                                Alert to Email: On
          Send Alert Summary to Administrators:
                      Alert from Email Address: tsmadmins@***.com
                               Alert SMTP Host: smtp.***.com
                               Alert SMTP Port: 25

                               Monitored Group:
                             Monitored Servers:

Skipped files as At-Risk for Virtual Machines?: No
                  At-Risk Interval for Systems: 48
Skipped files as At-Risk for Systems?: No

Any ideas?

If you'll notice, that field is blank on both servers. I am not looking for the alert summary. I have individual alerts configured to email. For example: I have all AND2579E alerts set to email myself, our ticketing system, and our NOC. Again, this works on all other servers except the newly built ones. All configurations were done the same way and I confirmed the alerts are being sent to the appropriate Administrator accounts who all have Email notifications on.

Code:
***FTS180> q alerttrigger anr2579e
Alert Trigger Category Administrator
ANR2579E CLIENT ADMIN NOCNOTIFY SERVICEDESK
Code:

Are alerts showing in the OC for these servers??

Yes they are. That's how I've been tracking the alerts not sending messages.

What version of Spectrum Protect is installed??

All systems are using server 8.1.1.0, OC is 8.1.1.000.
