Hi, we copied a GPFS filesystem to new hardware. I'm now attempting to back it up using TSM / mmbackup.
However, the new backupsize is now larger than the old size of back for the original GPFS filesystem.
We use a failover group so a df -h shows double the size.
OLD live GPFS : 439T (so actually 218.5T primary data)
old TSM: 250T data backed up slighlty larger for inactive versions
NEW GPFS : 432T (so actually 216T primary data)
new TSM: 321T and rising
NEW setup : I'm concerned it is backing up replicated data in the failover group.
Anything for me to check/advice would be good.
I have 2 tickets with IBM - one gpfs / one TSM neither are returning anything helpful - its a grey area!
