Maxnummp question

Hi,

We have VTL and i have given maxnummp value as 20 and i have Resourceutilization set to 10 on the Client and when i kicked off the backup,It kicked off 10 sessions,How do i get all 20 sessions as i have maxnummp set to 20?

Hi Greg,

The document needs to be updated i guess,I am using Client 6.2 and I have ResourceUtilization set to 20 and also Maxnummp also set to 20 and now i can see 20 sessions running at once.

I've noticed that too. Even with 5.x versions of the B/A client you can go past a resourceutilization of 10. Probably not supported, Sunny19, but it can be done.

Good info Sunny19. I never had a need to even question anything over 10.
