Hello all,

Last night I changed the TXNBytelimit in the dsm.sys file from 25600 to 2097152. Apparently this value is invalid. I am assuming it's because of the version of the client we're running as it is a valid value for 5.1 upwards. It's a long shot, but does anyone know the max value for TXNBytelimit for the very old client 3.1.20.3? Or where I can lay my eyes on any adsm v3.1 documentation?

Any help appreciated.

Leon

That value should work...I can't remember if the 2GB setting came out in 3.7 but I could have swore it was in 3.1. Anyway try dropping the value to 2000000. If that doesn't work then leave it at 25600 since internally TSM uses that as a threshold.

Thanks Chad.

I tried dropping the value lower but no joy. It looks like 25600 is the max value for 3.1
