I am trying to backup a network drive that is attached to the Lotus Notes server. On the server the drive shows disconnected, but this is by design for the Lotus Notes server. You can go into the network drive just fine when you click on the drive letter. When I try to do a backup, I am getting this error,

Incremental backup of volume 'D:'
ANS1228E Sending of object 'D:' failed
ANS1063E The specified path is not a valid file system or logical volume name.

A local C drive backup works just fine. Any ideas for what the issue might be or a good work around using the UNC path maybe?

The user id that we are logging into the Windows system have permission to access the D drive?

Are we able to perform a manual backup of the D drive?
If we are able to perform a manual backup of the D drive but not via the schedule service.

The schedule service use the local system account, update the schedule service to use a user account or a admin account or a domain account.

Good Luck,
Sias

No, I am unable to do a manual backup on the network drive D:

The account that is logged into the server has full control of the share which is mapped to the D drive
