Important Options for Backup/Restore

Hi together,

i want to know, which options on the client (dsm.opt/dsm.sys) or on the server are important, to speed up backup/restore with an gigabit ethernet network?
there are so much options that i don't know what to tune...

we're using an 7.1.1.300 and an 5.5.7.0 tsm server and all clients are on 7.1.3.0 level.

The defaults are the best in "most" cases.
