I am currently in despair, built a new SLES15 SP3 server with ISP 8.1.12, installed lin_tape & lin_taped v3.0.57 properly and the library and drives are recognised by the system. We are using a Scalar i6000 with drives directly connected to the server.
But when I run autoconf only the lbinfo file is created, the information from the drives does not come along.
However, the system recognises them correctly.
In the meantime I have also tried with udev rules and persistent naming but I can't get to the drives. I have tried several things there, but have basically stuck to this resource.
Does anyone have any information for me on how I can solve the problem?
Unfortunately, library setups don't happen that often for me.
