I have problem with weekly, mounthly, yearly backup

Hello every



I want backup for example one file as full backup weekly, mounthly and yearly. I dont do this backup becose in Policy I want define one Backup Copy Group and Archive Copy Group.

Through Backup Copy Group I backup weekly backup and through Archive Copy Group I backup mounthly backup, and I dont know backup yearly backup.





Do you have any idea ?

You may want to setup a different Domain and nodename for the weekly backups.

this will give you another "backup" policy to use.



you cannot specify multiple backup policies for the same files and directories inside a single domain (unfortunately).

There is one solution to the problem:



Create a number of Mgmt Classes in your domain and have a number of schedules

each backingup to another mgmtclass (-archmc option).



This will leave you with only one problem, the horrible scheduling...
