hi,
I am using HSM for windows and slightly confused with HSM configuration parameters on TSM management class. So i do have a windows HSM client already registered with TSM server and with setting "backup before migration" configured on HSM client side.
However i am confused with HSM settings present in MC in which this HSM node is currently registered. As per my current configuration , backup pool is a disk based pool and archive pool is tape based pool for this MC. However if i click on HSM parameters of this management class , i see quite similar parameters what i see on HSM client side.
My question is that whether i need to configure HSM aspect of MC at TSM server side or just not bother about it and concentrate about HSM client side configuration ( as i see some where that HSM data will go to archive pool of the MC in which HSM node is registered in any case )?
Second question is what is default location of HSM client node configuration file on windows platform?
