Is someone using space management (HSM) on a ftp server?

Can you tell me how you're setup?

HSM version, OS, FTP server, specific setting to enable AIO on ftp?

Its all on AIX and all on V5.4. FTP server is ProFTP and GPFS is the filesystem. We have a bank holiday over here until tuesday - I can tell you about the exact settings then. However since you're with IBM anyway, you may just as well get directly in touch with HSM development in germany or your 2nd level support. They helped us a lot in getting this to work properly. Problem with HSM seems to be that you can not really be sure from a quick test whether it will work or not once it hits some serious workload - and you'll be in trouble if it doesn't
