Hey TSMers,

Does anyone know how to set the segment size of TSM files ? Is it tunable by any chance ?
The problems with large files spanning multiple tapes are numerous, such as;

Cant reclaim or move data on primaries unless all associated volumes are in library, bad when you shelf (movemedia) tapes.
1 bad tape out of the sequence means all other tapes in the sequence are un-usable.
I want to set the max segment size of file to that of the capacity of the tape to eliminate spanners, so there is not tapes
like below with 1/2, 2/2 etc etc.

q content P02930L4 count=1 f=d
