How to poll data from Tsm server

Hello ,I want to poll data periodically from remote tsm server to another database that i created locally in order to do a web monitoring application. Can this be done through web service ?? if yes can you just give me an idea how to do it .I need your advice if there is another way to do that because when i tried to work directly with tsm database it's not efficient because i have to run a script with dsmadmc commands each time to update the data of tsm server.
I'm using Windows server 2008 r2 for tsm server .
and as programming language i'm using java entreprise edition.

You can also use ODBC to connect to the DB. You'll need the DB2 ODBC client:
