This may be a dumb question but let's say you have a 1 TB database (SQL). The new versions of TDP4SQL have flash copy manager. When the copy is taken how much space will it use up on the SQL server? Will a 1 TB DB require 1 TB of space for the flash copy that is taken? Or is it just metadata?
I really don't know how this works and space requirements. I have installed the product a number of times for SQL but don't understand what is going on.
