By all means, don't start on the wrong foot. TSM per se is not a career but part of a bigger picture called Backup/Recovery and DR/BCP, and this is what a lot of folks move into as a career.

Search the web for TSM basics instructional video. You can also enroll on TSM courses.

But i can't understand what you says about my perivious messaage.I expalin the exact problem.
actually I want to switch in tsm/Backup jobs because my current filed is a limited filed & for a career option their is no wast so I choose the Backup option where my Recovery knlw utilized.please expalin which o/s I should used for ..examp AIX ,REdhat etc.kinldy sugest me.I have Basic knowledge of Unix (AIX).
