First time DR

Hello:



I was given the task of doing DR stuff for TSM server + clients. I am not too worried about the clients, but I am a little worried about the server part. I can bring up the server by a mksysb, but after that I don't know what to do.



Can someone please tell me the procedure on how to have the clients start doing their restores?



Are there any documents out there for this type of situations?

Yes, you can read the 800 pages referanced by the URL, but really it all comes down to the summary I posted in this fourm previousily. Look for the topic called "Recover using DR plan file" dated Feb 6, 2004. Actually it was written before that, but that was the last update to that thread.



Review the steps listed in that post, and ley us know if you have more questions......
