Filer NDMP restore issue. ;Legato 7.4.3

Hi - having issues trying to restore a NDMP backup.
Filer is a 3020 and Legato ver is 7.4.3.
NDMP ver is 4
Tape drive is a Quantum superloader 3

Filer seems to get into loop when it tries to restore.
EMC and Netapp haven't been able to resolve as yet.
