Hello,
I have configured the TSM for VMware according to IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for Virtual Environments
Version 6.4 Intallation and User's Guide.
However, I can't vgimportclone the PV from the virtual machine vdisk backup mounted by iscsi, the error is shown below. (/dev/sdf5 is PV included in VMware hdisk1 backup)
root@nodeb:/root > vgimportclone --basevgname /dev/vgsnap01 /dev/sdf5
WARNING: Activation disabled. No device-mapper interaction will be attempted.
/tmp/snap.JV3XAas5/vgimport0: write failed after 0 of 512 at 4096: Input/output error
pv_write with new uuid failed for /tmp/snap.JV3XAas5/vgimport0.
0 physical volumes changed / 1 physical volume not changed
Fatal: Unable to change PV uuid for /tmp/snap.JV3XAas5/vgimport0, error: 5
