Hi,

What is the correct way for excluding a directory in archiving. The following text is not working for me:

EXCLUDE.archive.DIR "*:\Recycled"

Many Thanks,

cgrvy

No such option.

Archives must explicity be specified or follow the include/exclude list.

Use EXCLUDE.DIR "*:\Recycled"

Hi,

EXCLUDE.DIR "*:\Recycled" this is the command to exclude a directory from an archive.

to be clear... with exclude.dir command!!

EXCLUDE.DIR --> Works with backup and archive mode ???
or just for backup mode

because, i want to exclude some directory in my archive mode...
i use :
EXCLUDE.ARCHIVE "e:\erezr\tma\...\*.*" --> he list all file inside the folder "tma" for exclude them...
i want skip the folder for speed up the archiving

Hi guys,
does anybody know an answer to stratanic´s question? I also want to speed up the archive process, and want to exclude some directories from processing during archiving on linux servers.

Thanks and best regards,
bonobos
