I am in the process of setting up 4 active Exch servers and two Passive Exch server.
I have installed the TDP for Exch on the first active node. I am getting an error that I cannot communicate with the EXCH server.
I read in other posts that I may need to add the virtual sever name somewhere. /EXCSERV=servername.
Does this go in the config file? Does anyone have a sample of a config file or dsm.opt file for a clustered node?

DSM.opt file:
NODename TSM node name
CLUSTERnode Yes
COMPRESSIon Off
PASSWORDAccess Generate
COMMMethod TCPip

tdpexc.cfg:confused:
BUFFers 3
BUFFERSIze 1024
LOGFile tdpexc.log
LOGPrune 60
MOUNTWait yes
TEMPLOGRESTorepath

I havent even set up the shortcut yet because I cannot get the TDP to work yet.

Cannot expand Information Store to see Storage Groups

Windows server 2003R2 X64
Microsoft exchange server 2007
I have installed the BA client v5.5.0.2 x64
I have installed the TDP v551 x64
This is a clustered node. So created a shortcut with the target.
"C:\Program Files\Tivoli\TSM\TDPExchange\tdpexc.exe" /tsmoptfile=L:\TSM\TDPExchange\dsm.opt /excserver=msg-100 /configfile=L:\TSM\TDPExchange\tdpexc.cfg
At this point I can can open the TDP GUI, but cannot expand the Information Store to see the storage groups.
Anyone have any ideas on what might be the problem? Permissions issue? I have opened a ticket with IBM, but they keep sending me install docs... havent been much help.

Config file looks like this:
BUFFers 3
BUFFERSIze 1024
LOGFile tdpexc.log
LOGPrune 60
Server Name: msg-100
MOUNTWait yes
TEMPLOGRESTorepath
LASTPRUNEDate 02/03/2009 07:31:05

Any suggestions?????
