Errors after upgrading to 5.2.2.0

Hello!

My Problem is, that i upgrade my tsm server to 5.2.2.0. After that i have a lot of Error Messages in my actlog! This are the messages:

ANR8218W session terminated...

ANR0480W...

The problems are when i trie to start a schedule that start a command...(TDPO)

On other normal scheduled backups i got this error also, but the backup works...

I wonder if you have resolved the problem with the new version.

I had the same problem when running under 5.1.5 server version.

The TSM specialist says the upgrade to 5.2.2 version would fix it.

After reading your post, I am hesitated to do that.

I do not recommed version 5.2.2.0! I have tested it on Windows Server 2003 and my experience was not good. All desktop and Start menu shortcuts were deleted. Driver service was removed (TSM mmc: ..\Reports\Service Information.) The LTO2 driver did not work properly - drives not recognised, despite this being ok in 5.2.1.2. This was tested twice with identical result. This might only be a problem with LTO2 drives - I do not know.



The problem is that here is no uninstall routine available for this, so if you have not tested this in lab and have this problem in production environment, you have a problem on your hand.



I have no problems with 5.2.1.2, but will not use 5.2.2.0. I will never recommend any version unless I have thoroughly tested it. Did your TSM specialist perform a thorough test? If he found no problems what was his environment?

I have the same problem with a fresh installation van TSM 5221 on W2003, I can't see my library (drive are available) and in TSM Device driver the service information is gone.



I had a Adic Scalar 24 library LTO2.



I think that I go installed version 5.2.1.3
