I have a TSM 6.1.2 Server running on a Solaris 10 system. I do a full DB backup to tape every 6 hours.

The DB backup completes successfully, but the following error occurs every time the DB is backed up:
ANR9999D pkmemory.c(845): Error 9 detected while freeing memory; free was called from icutil.c(848, memory was allocated from icback.c(523)

The TSM server does not terminate.

Any ideas on what is causing this error.

Additional info.
During the time frame of the ANR9999D pkmemory error, I am seeing errors in the TSM DB2 logs related to "DB2 UDB, database utilities, sqluhDiskDelete, probe:949"
The error message is "SQL0902c A system error (reason code= "") occurred. Subsequent SQL statements cannot be processed." All of these errors are related to attempts to delete log files in the archive log directory.

ANR9999D pkmemory.c

There were some error messages in the db2diag.log related to trying to delete archive log files during the time frame of the ANR9999D messages. I eliminated the cause of these error messages, but the ANR999D pkmemory.c error messages are still occuring during full database backups.
