Can you update to 6.3.4 (at a minimum)? 6.2.0 is EOS this April and has the issue you are experiencing.

If you cannot update to 6.3.4, try asking for support from IBM. This is a DB2 issue which is handled in a case-to-case basis, i.e., no general approach.

And the upgrade it's free?
Nothing is free, but it's possible you already paid for it. You will need to login to Passport Advantage to see if it's available for you to download, if it is available for download, it means you already paid for it. You may also have already purchased 7.1.1, in which case I'd suggest going to 7.1.1.100 instead of 6.3.x.

For 7.1.1.100, follow this link: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24035122
- the link to Passport Advantage is in the Download Description section
- the scroll towards the bottom and click either on "AIX/Linux/Unix" or "Windows" to get the name of the 7.1.1.100 package you need to download: CIM4*ML.*

For 6.3.4, follow this link: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?&uid=swg24030521
- the link to Passport Advantage is in the Download Description section
- the scroll towards the bottom and click either on "AIX/Linux/Unix" or "Windows" to get the name of the 6.3.4 package you need to download: CIM4*ML.*

Apply the most current you are entitled for. If it is 7.1.1.100, it's the latest available. If you are not entitled for 7.1.x, but are for 6.3.x, then after installing 6.3.4, download and apply 6.3.5.100: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24038577

If you are not entitled for neither, then apply the lastest patch for 6.2, which is 6.2.7: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24038658
Going from 6.2.0 to 6.2.7 is included in the cost of 6.2.0.
