EMC's Centera product promises to add additional disk storage to TSM to replace tape. Is anyone using NFS mounted Centera disk space to create TSM disk storage pools?
We have just activated a Centera storage pool yesterday. Formerly we were writing to a WORM jukebox. As a precautionary task due to uppleasant experiences, we audited volumes daily on the jukebox to catch problems early.
We were using the audit vol (vol name) fix=no command.
My question is, how do we audit the Centera volume?
Have you considered the Powerfile A3 machine? If you're using NFS or CIFS (or both combined) then you should take a look. I will be more than glad to assist with this.
