DR first copy

Hi,

I have a Primary site with a TSM server 7.1.7 and DR site with another TSM server 7.1.7. We plan to use tsm replication between this two servers and directory container pool to store backup on Primary site.
Because the network link is not very large, in this case, can i used a media ( disk or other) to do the first copy of a client node ?

Thanks,

Ideally, you'd want to use a container pool on the DR side as well. Replication will run faster because the data will not need to be rehydrated. If you have container pool on both sides, the data won't be rehydrated and it will only copy extents that have not yet been replicated.
