Disk pools only?

Is it a possibility to use only disk pools and get away from tape? Is anyone out there doing this? Anyone know of any problems with this setup?

Hi,

My sister company is doing it this way. They dumped the librarys and now have a combination of DAS and NAS. They use the NAS as hotswap offsite pools. No problems at all
