Differences Exchange 2003 and 2007 backup

Hi,

we are runnng Exch 2003 with TDP in legacy mode.

Now we are getting a new Exchange running 2007.

Can I configue backup in the same way as for 2003?

I will read the manual but perhaps someone could give me some hints if there is anything to take care off.

Pretty much the same way you backup 2003. There is, however, a new feature in 2007 (the service name escapes me) that allows for quick Exchange DB backup. Maybe you can use this on top of what TDP for Exchange does.

Edit: I found the link but it looks like it needs to be in Cluster mode which, by the way, is the recommended approach in implementing Exchange: http://adsm.org/forum/showthread.php?t=15755&highlight=Exchange+2007
