This is a TSM forum, which is backup software. I assumed you wanted to delete a file from a backup. If that's not the case, you are in the wrong forum.

The method I am saying is an all or nothing one - meaning it will delete ALL FILES and not just one or two files. Is this what you want?

It is an all or nothing - date ranges cannot be selected using the standard (built-in "delete filespace..." command) method.

If you have a good DB2 DBA, you may do selective deletes but this would not be easy. I don't know if IBM has tools for this. Open a PMR to find out.
