Without some understanding DRIVES remained offline.
I just deleting the DRIVE2 of my TSM.
Now I am trying to add again with the command:

And leaving is not showing the error below.
tsm: TITAN>DEFINE DRIVE LTOLIB2 LTODRIVE2
ANR8444E DEFINE DRIVE: Library LTOLIB2 is currently unavailable.
ANS8001I Return code 14.

How to proceed?

Do you have any other drives working?
1st, you would check ypur library path before you proceed.

delete pathes for drive
delete drvies
verify the library path
verify libray
redefine drives
redefine drives path according to element number of the library and WWN of drive path...

So I removed the DRIVE2 and everything that was part of it.
Never did this procedure in 16 hours and I am working to adjust it again.

As procedures:
It has a file on my server called IBMtape within it contains the information of serial numbers.
I made the command:

DEFINED PATH TITAN LTODRIVE2 SRCTYPE=SERVER DESTTYPE DRIVE LIBRARY=LTOLIB2 DEVICE /dev/IBMtape1

And I was changing the /dev /IBMtapeX

But I am not able to add the PATH DRIVES
I do not know what to do more
 
1 - DELETE DRIVE LTOLIB2 LTODRIVE2

2 - DELETE DRIVE LTOLIB2 LTODRIVE3

3 - DELETE PATH TITAN LTOLIB2 SRCTYPE=SERVER DESTTYPE=LIBRARY

4 - DEFINE DRIVE LTOLIB2 LTODRIVE2 ELEMENT=256 SERIAL=AUTODETECT CLEANFREQUENCY=NONE

5 - DEFINE DRIVE LTOLIB2 LTODRIVE3 ELEMENT=257 SERIAL=AUTODETECT CLEANFREQUENCY=NONE

6 - DEFINE PATH TITAN LTOLIB2 SRCTYPE=SERVER DESTTYPE=LIBRARY DEVICE=/dev/IBMchanger1

7 - DEFINE PATH TITAN LTODRIVE2 SRCTYPE=SERVER DESTTYPE=DRIVE LIBRARY=LTOLIB2 DEVICE=/dev/IBMtape1

I assumed the TSM server is on Linux OS..

Can you post the library(changer) path with WWN and drives path with WWN...

Do you have dual paths to the tape library? If so also try the other library changer path
