DBB tape still exists after exp period

q DRM shows DXXXXXXL1 tape which is in the vault



q vol DXXXXXXL1 shows no match found using this criteria



q volhist shows it is a database backup of date 20-4-2006



q drmstatus shows DB expiration days is 5 days



It is there for about 15 days. What's wrong here?

Is DXXXXXXL1 the tape where the last DB backup made on?

The last DB-backup will never expire.

No, it's not the last dbb, but it is the last on L1. Newer ones are one L3.

what did you set on the volhistory to Delete Volume DB in History ??



here we store 4 days DB backup, here the command we pass every day t expire :



DEL VOLH TOD=-4 T=DBB

Will this also remove the connection out of DRM (q drm shows this tape)?



I entered the command and removing the volhist entry will also remove the DRM entry
