DB2 API Error - Environmental varible

Hi All,

We are setting new DB2 backup using TSM 5.5.3, While trying to set the password for the node using dsmapipw command we are getting the below mentioned error.

/dsmapipw

* Tivoli Storage Manager *
* API Version = 5.5.3 *
*************************************************************
Enter your current password:
Enter your new password:
Enter your new password again:
*** Server signon failed: (-50) TCP/IP communications failure.

Any help would be apperiacted!!!

tsmboys, is it just me but I can't see any errors shown in your original post ?
