We're in the process right now of unloading the db to ready for a reorganization of the database data to recover about 17 of the allocated 60 GB. I'm in hour 3 of this and just wondering if anyone knows how long this would take.

AIX
TSM 5.5
Going to tape - LTO2
Database is 60 GB and was at 92% utilized

Any other data you need to know just ask.

Thanks

we have a db reorg also running at the moment on a p560, 40GB ram, 7CPU's; unload going directly to a filevolume.

db stats before:

Code:
Available Assigned Maximum Maximum Page Total Used Pct Max.
Space Capacity Extension Reduction Size Usable Pages Util Pct
(MB) (MB) (MB) (MB) (bytes) Pages Util
--------- -------- --------- --------- ------- --------- --------- ----- -----
  327,152 275,416 51,736 19,872 4,096 70,506,49 32,065,08 45.5 45.5

does someone known how long this will take?

It's now running for about 9 hrs and have dumped 45GB to the dmp-file (793491405 db entries)...

thanks
