Configuring TDP for SQL 6.4 errors - ACO5098E / ACO0520E (RESOLVED)

Hello all,

I recently saw that TDP 5.5 will no longer be supported as of April 2014 so I thought I would get a head start and begin testing 6.4. The installation was successful but when I go to query SQL in the Automate tab in the MMC, I receive the following message:

ACO5098E Error obtaining VSS information from Local DSMAgent Node: 'MY_WINDOWS_NODE'.
ACO0520E Failed to connect to Local DSMAGENT Node 'MY_SQL_NODE' at address:port 'SERVER.TEST.TESTWORLD.com:56230'. Verify that the TSM Client Acceptor Daemon (CAD) is installed, configured, and running properly.
Completed

My CAD service was installed and is running.

The proxy authority was setup properly:

tsm: TSM>q proxy

Target Node Agent Node
--------------- --------------------
MY_SQL_NODE MY_WINDOWS_NODE

Thoughts?

Thanks,
Brian

Turns out that you need to install BAC 6.4 in order to use TDP 6.4.

Hi Brian, its good to remember you always need the API at the same level or above the TDP level.
