hello,

consider i'm a newbie in tsm if using the CLI, does anyone could give me guidance about thing i need to configure in orderly manner. I've already configure the hardware(autoloader), storage pool ..

You have a long, long way. Consider reading the Admin guide for what OS you have TSM server running on.

You have to create policies, management classes, nodes, license registration, etc.

TSM is very powerful, very capable and very configurable. The downside to that is its harder to configure because there's more decisions and design stuff.

If you think there are too many things to configure you should maybe consider not working with TSM and maybe just stick with "ntbackup" because you don't have to configure anything for that really...

There are TSM courses you could go on, they are very good and will explain how it all works. And the documentation is good too. Its not insurmountable. And adsm.org is here to answer specific questions when you get stuck, but not to give you a course in TSM.
