Hello,

I want to create an additional user for one node which has the possibility to restore files only.
How can I create such a user?

Thanks!

Thank you, I haven`t seen that there is the possibility to grant access to a specific client.
I have granted Node rights to the Class Option. So I think it is only possible to backup and restore data and don`t make any configuration changes!?

Right?

Right?
See "help grant authority" - you can limit access to a node.

Hello,

I have done this. My syntax was:

grant auth User1 CL=Node Node=Node0815

If I don`t define the authority parameter, by default it is set to ACCESS. So it has only backup and restore rights.
So I think everything is OK.

Thank you very much!

Bye

I want to do this also, a client wants to be able to use the client web gui to backup or restore files if they need to. currently I have to enter in my TSM ID and we don't want to give them authority to TSM just the client web gui only.

Thanks for any help!
