Cleaning Tape Problem

hi everyone,

we have a HP MSL4048 Tape Drive. i don't know how to set up cleaning tape. on HP MSL4048, there is a warning saying "auto clean status :no cleaning tape!". however, cleaning tape is inside the tape drive.

can somebody help me how to configure?

I have no experience with this library but generally you have to let the library know that you have inserted a cleaning tape, and have set it to auto clean.

If you have just put the cleaning tape in a slot, remove it and check it in as cleaning tape. In IBM libraries (3584, 3583 and variants), it is done through the control panel.
