Can't write log file on remote disk

Hi all,



I want TSM backup-client writes log to shared directory. So I create a shared directory on remote disk and map it to TSM client. But TSM client only write log file on local disk rather instead of writing log file to the shared directory on remote disk.



Does you have any idea ?

are you sur that you have specified enough permission on the target share, that TSM can write on it.



if yes can you show your dsm.opt (or dsm.sys if UNIX) config?

Is the shared directory is mounted locally? If it is, it will be treated as a local directory for TSM. Remote or local is known by the Operating System, not the application.
