Can't start sched on Linux client- getting ans1818e error

When I try and start a schedule process using the dsmc sched command, I receive and error (ans1818e) stating "operation not allowed in loop mode". Anyone ever heard of this before?

No - never heard of it before - but I guess it would come up if you actually try to start the scheduler in loop (interactive) mode. So running dsmc and then entering "sched" on the tsm command prompt should throw this error while "dsmc sched" from your bash (or whatever shell) should not.
