Had a problem last night with a TSM MSE database backup on one of our HPUX boxes. All other backups ran fine. The journals, full all completed. No issues before last night.
In the TSM error log is says this.
00:11:06 ADSMSP: MN Can't start session ANS1504E (RC292) Error starting the Trusted Communication Agent process.
error starting the Trusted Communication Agent process.
Explanation:
An error has occurred starting the Trusted Communication Agent process; specifically, the fork() function has failed.
System action: TSM ends.
User response: Probable system error. If the problem persists, restart the workstation.
Has anyone ever seen this error? Is this a TSM error....or did TSM have a problem starting the incremental backup because there were too many processes running on the OS?
Client is HP-UX 11.i MSE databases, backups run from cron. Nothing is syslog, and dsmerror logs just says what I put above.
