I want to install only the administrative client command line on a workstation - the only way I've been able to install this component in the past is by installing with the backup-archive client. Am I missing something simple? Is there a way to install just the command line client?

yes you can, but not with an install; only copy the complete tsmdirectory to your desktop/server and dsmadmc works ... i think thats the fastet method.
