I am trying to do a BMR of a primary domain controller. I have followed the redpaper for restoring windows 2003 and XP. Using the ASR diskette and TSMCLI CD I was able to restore the system to a point where it asks to press any key to reboot. After reboot I am not able to login. If I use the administrator userid and leave the password blank then I get an error stating that I need to activate windows. If I enter the correct password for the user id the I get an error stating that the password or userid is incorrect. I am not sure what to do next. Any ideas....

Thanks

I was about to post the question of "IS it possible to do a BMR with a Windows AD Domain Controller" when I saw your post. Were you ever able to do the restore? I've been told to use Veritas but I'm hoping TSM will do this for me. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Joe
