BACKUP DB without EE license

hi all,

How to do a backup db with a basic license.
I guess I can not deal with that since "set DRMDBBackupexpiredays" complains with:
ANR6752W Disaster recovery manager operation SET DRMDBBACKUPEXPIREDAYS is in
violation of server license terms - server is not licensed for disaster
recovery manager support.
ANR6700I SET DRMDBBACKUPEXPIREDAYS command completed successfully.

About copies of data to make a vault, I am doing with backupsets to solve the problem of the license. But what about the DB?

Hi,

If you're not using TSM EE, you still can make DB backups with the backup db command.
In order to expire your DB Backups, you'll need to user the delete volhist command instead of the drmdbbackupexpiredays parameters.

Disaster Recovery Module (DRM) is not available with basic licensing, you'll need extended license. You'll have to do DRM stuff manually, as erwanns indicated.
