Are tape copy pools valid from data domain dedupe file type volumes?
We have the traditional (?) primary Data Domain dd880 but instead of using a 2nd Data Domain dd880 for offsite DR we implemented copy pool using tape.
I wondered if this is valid? Since the data on the Data Domain primary storage pools are dedeuped?
Our environment:
Data Domain dd880 presented to TSM OS as nfs mounts
we use Data Domain dd880 dedupe ( not TSM's dedupe )
stg pools created with device type = file
Thanks in advance ...
