archive schedule via the web admin interface

I have various NT/W2k servers to archive every month with the following schedule:



Policy Domain Name NT

Schedule Name NT_WEEKLY_ARCHIVE

Description Monthly archive schedule for NT domain

Action ARCHIVE

Options -subdir=yes

Objects c:\,d:\,e:\,f:\,g:\,h:\,

Priority 1

Start date 2003-03-23

Start time 01:00:00

Duration 10

Duration units HOURS

Period 1

Period units MONTHS

Day of Week SUNDAY



Is that going to work??

Not all of these servers have as many drive letters as others??



I cannot test during the working hours and don't have enough backup window after work except for SAT/SUN so i need to make sure it will start!



Also does tsm backup nodes to separate tapes as the archive is set to go straight to tape if so i would need alot of scratch tapes in the library?

A couple of tips: check your start date, and yes it does go straight to tape. How many scratch tapes you need would depend on the amount of data you are going to archive. (Obviously) :grin:
