Archive CMoD on TSM

Hi All,

My client want archive CMoD data on TSM server. I already install TSM client on CMoD server and config option file (dsm.opt). but when I try to load data on TSM server this error appear :

I already config connection TSM Client to TSM server.

any config I missing?

Can you check the dsierror.log? It should in be in the same directory as your dsm.opt or in $DSMI_LOG.

Thank you for your response. I already check the dsierror.log this file not found, but I find dsmerror.log file and in this file does not display an error.

Ok. The error you are getting says:

ANS0237E
On dsmInit, the node is not allowed when PASSWORDACCESS=generate.

Explanation
PASSWORDACCESS=generate establishes a session with the current hostname as the node.

System action
The system returns to the calling procedure.

User response
When using PASSWORDACCESS=generate, set clientNodeNameP to NULL.

Comment out or delete the nodename line from the option file and retry.

Ensure that the stVersion field is set with the value in the header file. Recompile the application with the latest header files.

Likely that the API version doesn't match the version CMOD was compiled with. Check what TSM API version is required with your CMOD version. That should be available on the CMOD support pages or in the documentation for your specific version.

Still error :

Did you check with CMoD support to see what version of the TSM API they support?

You may need to open a support call with CMoD, because the error you are getting is as a result of CMoD invoking the TSM API.

Hi, this error already solved. for CMoD 9.5 support TSM 7.1 and I install TSM Client 7.1 on CMoD server.
