I need to probe the community for some opinions and learn of some experiences with IBM's Tivoli CDP, real-time backup solution.
How many machines under protection? Are you using it with TSM? Are you using a file server for a remote storage? Are you using Central administration? How are you monitoring/auditing availability of data? What schedule do you use for email files? If SLA's do NOT require multi-versions, would you still keep more than one? Why or why not? Do you keep backups on the local machines in addition to remotely?
What is your experiences with this product? If you are NOT using CDP, what are you using to protect the data of your mobile users? or, if you are NOT using CDP, what other real-time backup solutions are you using.
Thanks all!
