ANS1512E Scheduled event '.........' failed. Return code = 1900.

On the TDP SQL GUI we are getting the below error:-

08/18/2008 01:44:38 ACO5422E Received the following from the MS SQL server:
08/18/2008 01:44:38 [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]BACKUP DATABASE is terminating abnormally. Microsoft SQL-DMO (ODBC SQLState: 42000) (HRESULT:0x80040bc5)

In the windows event viewer we are getting the below error:

18210 :
BackupVirtualDeviceSet::Initialize: Open failure on backup device 'TDPSQL-00000D70-0000'. Operating system error 0x80070002(The system cannot find the file specified.).

Pls any one can help me

You can't specify is it new installation or not, TDP, TSM and SQL version ets.

Our TSM server version is 5.4 On Aix server and client SQL TDP Version is 5.2.1.0

First update TDP SQL to version:

Pls let me know where can i get the TSM TDP SQL software for 5.3.3.0, as i want to install this verion on the server

As i know TDP for SQL V5.3.3 work only on Windows x64.
TDP for SQL v.5.2.1.6 is part of TDP for Database v.5.4.
In all cases you can download all soft from Passport Advantage (if you have valid license).

Hi,

i have same error code.

Problem was my sql database run on another server then i run backup script.

In my case MSSQL Server is cluster services.

Check you sql server is running on local machine.
