ANS1355E Session rejected: Server disable

Hi! All May be i post on wrong place but this is very urgent for me, does anyone know about this pls help me!Three day ago i connect to my tivoli server and get the message password expire, I don't have time so i have changed the local date back to 2 months and it work, after finish my work i change date back to the currently date, and I got the message:ANS1355E Session rejected: Server disable ANS8023E Unable to establish session with server.ANS8002I Highest return code was 55.So now i can not access to the system anymore. I have searched on internet and get many information but the server still disable-can not access.pls tell me how to solve it!Thanks tptceo

You should be able to connect to the TSM server using the admin client
(command line or gui) and issue the command "Enable Session". If your admin client is unable to connect, then start the server in foreground and on the console issue "enable session". TSM server has all operations based on dates and if the server see the dates being changed too much, it will disable the server. In that case you will see a message in the activity log saying that the server has been disabled and you need to issue the "ACCEPT DATE" command so that the server can accept this date change. So, if you are getting this meassge in your activity log you have to issue "Accept Date" command

Thanks alimirza for your help, but when i run "enable session" or "enable session admin/client" or "enable server" it seem these command does not effect.The status still disable.I also restart server for several time.I've searched on internet ,they tell the same as you tell me but it can not solve my problem. Do you have any idea about this? OR does anyone on this forum know my problem please?Once again thanks for your responetptceo

1..You are in BIG TROUBLE ..
2..Issue the command : DEL VOLH TODATE=TODAY+60
3..later on check that you are at the corrct date and type : accept date

Hi!
Thanks barouch,yesterday after sereral times doing something i change back the date then the server is online now, but the date is not current date.It mean that the time expired, so how do i change to the current date without disable server,cause the date bw server and client is different, so the schedule to backup will go wrong.

Hi,

May be this is good solution?! Change data to corect date. Pleas stop server. Go to server bin directory and start server ./dsmser or dsmserv.exe. When server start in console mode please use command ACCEPT DATE. After this command stop server (halt) and start server again as service or process. And try again.

When you read this information at the end you see command ACCEPT DATE. Pleas try it. Few month ago I was on demo in IBM. When we start VMware with TSM server we have the same problem. IBM'ers give us thise solution. Start dsmserv and run command ACCEPT DATE. It's works.

Hi. I cant see your pics. Try again. Stop server start. Run dsmserv when you go to consle please use command update admin <your admin login name> <new password>. Halt server and run it as service.

Hi! bandrzej After i do as you say, now i face with the problem ANS1017E Session rejected: TCP/IP connection failure i check the log file it showing like that:ANS5216E Could not establish a TCP/IP connection with address 'HOSTNAME:1500'. The TCP/IP error is 'Unknown error' (errno = 10061).i run dsmserv but also can not. So how to turn this on? Thanks again for your helptptceo

Hi! this is out of this topic, but i want to ask bandrzej one more question,do you know about this,Sometime for my schedule task,on client i monitor and see that, when time for schedule come,it display Session 119 for node NODENAME (AIX - RS/6000) (TCP/IP) terminated - idle for more than 15 minutes.Thank you very much for your help.tptceo

Probably you have problems with Storage Agent.

Do you have instaled Storage Agent on that machine?

Sorry on that machine i did not run Lan-free so it no need to set up storage agent right?

the dsm.sys file i already disbale 2 line:

# enablelanfree yes
# lanfreecommethod sharedsmem
cause i copy the same configuration form other AIX box, so forget to disable Lanfree.

but the problem still exist
