TSM 5.2.0 server on z/OS, client is Windows 2003 AD domain controller with sp1 running TSM 5.3.2 client. I can't get a backup of SYSTEM STATE. SYSTEMSERVICES works ok. In dsmerror.log, I see
11/17/2005 17:05:42 ANS2047E An unexpected error was encountered processing a system state/services request.
TSM function name : FindVolume()
TSM function : Find volume entry for \?c:windowssysvol.The current volume table is C:e:
TSM return code : 131
TSM explanation : ANS1028S An internal program error occurred.
TSM file : vssutil.cpp (440)
11/17/2005 17:05:43 ANS1228E Sending of object 'SYSTEM STATE' failed
11/17/2005 17:05:43 ANS1235E An unknown system error has occurred from which TSM cannot recover.
On our domain controllers we have AD logging on the E: drive, so there is a \windows\ntds directory on both the C: and E: drives. Maybe TSM is getting confused because of that. Anyone seeing similar errors?
