Configuration is a standalone system
5.1.6.5 Server
5.1.5.0 Client
AIX 4.3.3 ML10
I get the following messages when doing a backup of multiple filesystems,
using DOMAIN to specify the FS's in my dsm.opt file. They only occur
after it has successfully backed up 4 filesystems (370K files, 45GB), then
fails to backup the remaining filesystems (2) in my DOMAIN statement. I'm
backing up directly to tape using this command in a script and
Copy Mode=ABSOLUTE in the copygroup.
dsmc incremental -subdir=yes
When Copy Mode=Modified, which is how I'm normally backing things up, then it
works. But then its not doing a full backup as I am wanting to do
occasionally and so it doesn't backup nearly as much data. Also, it has
worked with Copy Mode=ABSOLUTE in the past, probably backing up less data
though.
Here are the errors that appear for each FS that fails.
cuFSQry: Received rc: -451 from cuBeginTxn
fsCheckAdd: received error from server query
ANS1228E Sending of object '/fs5' failed
ANS1474E An error occurred using the Shared Memory protocol
Any ideas of what the cause is of this?
Thanks,
Ron
