ANS1192E (RC959) Specifying the error log '*' as a symbolic link is not allowed.

That error is being written in /usr/tivoli/tsm/client/oracle/bin64
-rw-r--r-- 1 root system 184 Oct 05 11:30 dsierror.log


Looks like the other config files check out.


Also seeing this in the TSM error log ( dsmerror.log )

I am assuming you are backing up via RMAN? Looks like a file permission error where your oracle user cannot write into the tsm log files...

Can you post your opt files with your log config?
